How does ExpressBitcoinPostage work?
ExpressBitcoinPostage lets anyone ship a package or envelope and pay securely with bitcoin. We currently support international shipping from Hong Kong, China worldwide with Hong Kong Post, as well as domestic and international shipping from the U.S. with USPS Priority, Express, and First-Class mail service, as well as FedEx.
How quickly can I print my postage?
A Bitcoin transaction, by design, will get one confirmation after an average of 10 minutes. Even before a confirmation has been received, a transaction is generally irreversible. Our website can allow you to print shipping labels at the earliest sign of a confirmation, with systems in place to void the label if a confirmation is not reached by the time your label is in the mail. This means you can print your postage instantly. Once you reach the payment page and a payment is received, you will receive a link to print your postage.
Why did my label come back blank?
Whenever a label comes back blank most of the time there is a field
entry missing or something that has been entered as an unverifiable
for the vending partner who supplies our labels.
- The email and or phone number fields were left blank or incomplete
- The metrics for dimensions were not specified
- The address you are mailing to is not a working, active, or
verifiable address - Customs information for international packages was not filled in
correctly or at all - An error in server communication between vendor and our company
Can you recommend a label printer?
All domestic labels for USPS or FedEx should be printed at least 4″ x 6″ and be securely attached to your box or envelope. A dedicated label printer is handy if you are shipping multiple items a day. We can recommend the following model:

International shipments, however, can generate paperwork labels and paperwork that is larger than 4″ x 6″. We recommend using a traditional printer for those.
Can I print my postage again?
You can print your postage as many times as you’d like as long as you only mail each unique label once. If you mail the same label twice, the package will be stopped and held at the post office and you will have to pay a fee to get it returned back to you. Such a process can be lengthy and expensive, so if you are printing multiple labels, we encourage you to check and make sure that you didn’t print the same one twice.
Why is there a black box on my USPS label instead of a carrier letter/signifier?
Some USPS labels will not show a letter in the upper left hand corner. Specifically those will be USPS Parcel Select labels. Please see the link to read further!
What is paperless invoicing?
USPS labels will electronically print the customs information with your label. UPS paperless invoicing is your customs information electronically filed in your labels bar code specifically with UPS International labels.
Do I need to fill out paper customs for my UPS International labels?
Some countries now allow for paperless invoicing. If you do not know
whether or not the country you are shipping to allows paperless
invoicing it is always wise to have a form ready.
How do I know if the country I am shipping to accepts paperless
invoicing?
Typically when INV appears on the label it means that the shipment
does not qualify for EDI and a physical or paper commercial(customs)
invoice would be required. If you see EDI, that means the information
was electronically transmitted and you should not need a paper
commercial(customs) invoice.
How do I know if the country I am shipping my UPS package with has
specific import or export regulations?
We are simply the transaction provider for purchasing a label with
crypto so we do not have that information and as those standards
change for different countries the information provided would change
